/Right Hemisphere/: Creativity, Storytelling, and Humanities
My creativity shows up in poetry, essays, satire, photography, and visual storytelling—basically, if it can be written, snapped, or 'satired', I’ve probably tried it. I gravitate toward themes of masculinity, diaspora, faith, violence, and everyday survival, because the human story is rarely simple and never boring. For me, creativity sharpens empathy, stretches imagination, and adds the kind of nuance that makes research more than just data points. In other words: creativity keeps my science human, and my science keeps my creativity grounded.
